4. Can I use Feesier for any legal practice?

Accepted Answer

In order to access our financing, the legal practice that you would like to use needs to be our existing partner. If they are not our partner yet, simply ask them to sign up with us - it's quick and easy for them to do. Once they become our partner, you can apply to finance your legal fees.

5. What instalment options are available?

Currently there is one option of 4 monthly instalments, with the first instalment payable on approval.

6. What are your lending criteria?

We will make our decision based on individual circumstances of each case.
 
Individual borrowers must be UK residents, at least 18 years of age, able to afford the monthly repayments and not bankrupt.​

Business borrowers must be a solvent and trading corporate entity registered in England and Wales.

7. How much can you finance?

At present, the minimum amount we can finance is £200 and the maximum amount is £3,000.

The fee amount that you wish to finance must be set. So, either fixed (or capped) fees if they relate to legal assistance to be provided or invoiced fees if they relate to legal assistance already provided.

9. How much will it cost me to obtain Feesier financing?

Accepted Answer

There is neither interest, nor fees for the financing provided that all repayments are made on time. Late payment fees may apply.

10. Is Feesier FCA authorised?

Feesier financing to consumers is currently not required to be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (the FCA) as it falls under the exemption in Article 60(F)(2) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 relating to short term and interest free lending.

Feesier financing to businesses is generally outside the scope of FCA regulation.

Feesier has partnered with Abound for provision of interest bearing financing for legal fees for larger amounts and longer repayment terms.

Our partner Abound is offering loans to Feesier customers of up to £10,000 repayable over 12 - 60 months. Representative 25.8% APR.

This financing is provided solely by Abound subject to their lending and eligibility criteria and T&Cs.
